- Option 1
The academy organises an intensive two month program aimed at individual coaches. The course runs between the months of September and June.
- Option 2
In addition, for groups of coaches, there is the chance to attend official courses run by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in which you can study for and obtain a UEFA Pro A or B licence.
These courses also last for two months and take place between May and June. The RFEF course requires an enrolment quota of at least 20 coaches and participants must have an intermediate level of Spanish.
- Option 3
The third option, also for groups of coaches, is a flexible program which can be adapted to suit the needs of each group. The programs can last between 4 and 12 weeks and are developed in partnership with RFEF.
This course also gives coaches the chance to obtain their UEFA licence. Coaches that are coming from another country also have the option of using a translator during their stay.
This course also requires a minimum enrolment of 20 coaches.
These new program offered by the Seville Academy are geared towards young people over the age of 18 from anywhere in the world.
In the individual programme, participants have the chance to be integrated into the coaching team of a federated club such as AD Nervión (the third most successful football club in Seville behind Sevilla FC and Real Betis).
Participants will work as an assistant for two sessions per day (morning and afternoon), 3-4 times a week, with each session lasting between 2 and 2.5 hours. During this time, they will help the academy trainers as well as the coaches of the team where they are training.
Participants will also receive English classes in the mornings for a total of 7.5 hours a week between Monday and Friday.
In the RFEF course, language classes are optional.
For internal programs, the coaches are accommodated at the San Estanislao del Campo university residence where they have full board accommodation (except at weekends).
During their stay at the academy, coaches will attend training sessions and league matches of the city’s top teams, Real Betis and Sevilla FC.
