Individual performance report
For the player who wants to be judged on a full week of work inside a professional academy — and who is weighing up the ten-month programme but wants to see it from the inside first.
Strategy and Development
One Week Inside the PSG Academy Pro Residency
Most trials give a player one session to be seen in. This one places you inside the full-year residency squad for one to four weeks, training under the official Paris Saint-Germain methodology with PSG Academy-certified, UEFA- and FFF-licensed staff. The technical staff assess you across a whole week — training, recovery and competition — not across one afternoon.
Preparation Stage
01
Preparation and Conditioning
Up to five hours of football development a day at the intensity of a professional academy, in season rather than in a holiday window. Technical work, tactical set-up, position-specific sessions, strength and conditioning, and recovery — alongside players who train this way every day.
Access Trial
02
Access Trial for the Full-Year Programme
This is the route into the academy's ten-month full-year programme. The technical staff carry out a professional assessment during your stay; if they see the level and the attitude, a place is offered. Standout players from across PSG Academy Pro's programmes in France and the United States are also invited to the Top 44 — a week-long immersion at the official training centre, limited to 44 players a year.
Say plainly what this is not: it is not a trial for Paris Saint-Germain’s professional squad, and it does not put a player in front of the first team. It is a trial for the academy’s own full-year programme, and a route towards professional or college football from there.
Technical Optimization
The 3 Pillars of Training Success
The focus of the intensive programs moves away from a holiday format and centers on accelerated individual optimization.
1
Technical and Tactical Development
The official PSG methodology, built on six pillars: intelligence, intensity, competition, perception, creativity and confidence. Rondos, 1v1, offensive and defensive transitions, set pieces, formation work and position-specific sessions. Goalkeepers train on their own programme, led by the academy's head goalkeeping coach.
2
Physical Conditioning and Recovery
Strength and conditioning sessions for speed, agility, power and endurance; individual and collective injury-prevention routines; physiotherapy on campus as needed, a gym, and cold-water recovery.
3
Analysis, Mentality and Invisible Training
Matches recorded and reviewed, tactical study of professional teams, GPS performance data, mental conditioning with a sports psychologist, and professional talks on nutrition, hydration, sleep, recovery and what a career in football actually demands.
And you leave with it in writing: every player receives an individual assessment and a written performance report. Whatever the outcome, you go home knowing what a professional coaching staff actually thinks of your game.
5. ¿Voy a jugar partidos?
