This camp takes place in the Principality of Andorra in July. It is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 16 years who want to spend between 2 and 4 weeks practising their downhill (DH) bike skills. The only entry requirement is that they have basic cycling skills.

Apart from having fun, which is the main object of the camp, there is also a focus on learning English. Students will attend 15 English classes per week in addition to the cycling and other activities.
Around 25% of participants are from other countries, thus this is a great opportunity for students to make friends with other young people from all around the world and improve their English in a natural way, interacting with the people they meet.

To participate in this camp it is only necessary to be able to ride a bike. The young people spend three hours a day (from Monday to Friday) learning downhill biking, they are always under the supervision of a specialist guide and there is technical support on all the descents. Training is carried out on learner tracks and students learn in small mixed groups.

The classes are very dynamic and lesson plans are created based on encouraging high student participation. During the course, the official Trinity College London exams are held for participants who want to test their knowledge.

During their free time, the boys and girls can take part in a variety of sports (football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis etc), thanks to the fabulous facilities at the hotel.
In the evenings they have a range of activities to choose from: big screen cinemas, spending time in the television room, recreation room, workshops, games nights (inside and out), competitions, board games and so on. They can also use the time to make phone calls home or chat via Whatsapp etc.
At weekends the camp organises excursions to Port Aventura and/or Barcelona (Barcelona Experience Tour). These outings are optional and will incur an additional cost of 85€ each.
The young people who opt not to go on the excursions will not be short of things to do: the camp organises workshops on activities like cooking, magic tricks, photography, make up techniques etc so there’s always something fun and interesting to do.

Distance between facilities
The young people sleep in double, triple or quadruple rooms. All rooms have bath or shower and there is a daily cleaning and towel changing service. There is free WiFi throughout as well as telephone, air conditioning and satellite television.

Downhill Biking Facilities
The downhill biking takes place on the hills of GrandValira and Vallnord, located at 13 and 30 km respectively from the Hotel Euroski. There are different tracks and cross country levels, a slope-style track piste, endurance and modules circuits.
The team of monitors is made up of skilled and experienced people. They provide 24 hour supervision of the young people and are on hand to deal with any kind of request. They accompany the students on all the excursions.
The four star Hotel Euroski (Carretera General de Canillo-Soldeu, s/n AD100 Incles, Andorra), headquarters of the camp, is located in the Valle de Incles, in the Principality of Andorra. The pistes of GrandValira and Vallnord, where the downhill biking takes place, are located at 13km and 30 km respectively from the hotel. The participants are transported by private bus.

Participants who don’t bring their own downhill bike and protective equipment must pay 95€ for hire of this.
Camp Rialp offers a transfers service from different parts of Spain. A monitor will meet the participant on their arrival at the airport/chosen pick up point and will escort him/her to a private bus/car where they will be taken to the camp together with other camp participants.
The service is offered from The Aeropuerto del Prat in Barcelona on 3rd, 9th and 16th July (arrival) and 15th, 22nd and 28th July (return). The price is 60€ one way and 120€ return. Arrivals must be before 10.00am and returns must be between 3.30pm and 6.30pm.

If you prefer to take your child to the camp yourself you can do this based on the following days and times: arrivals on the days 3rd, 9th 16th and 22 July (from 12.30 to 2.00pm) and departures on 9th, 15th and 22nd (from 10.30am to 12.00noon) and 28 July (from 9.00 to 9.30am). Camp Rialp closes on 28 July at 9.30am, which is when the hotel closes and the camp ends. Arrivals and departures take place at the hotel reception. Parents are not permitted access to the rooms.

Steps to make a reservation for the camp
- Step 1: Make a payment of 50% of the total cost of the program. (If you reserve after May 31st, you must pay 100% of the cost of the program to reserve.)
- Step 2: Turn in the required documents duly completed.
Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, we’ll send you a confirmation of your reservation.
Once you have received the confirmation, you can buy your transportation tickets. If you have reserved the transfer service, be sure to send us an email regarding the details of your trip so we can successfully transport you to the camp.
