The young riders are assessed when they arrive and, depending on their skill level, they either spend a week learning dressage and show jumping or proceed straight to riding in the beautiful English countryside.

All the training sessions are planned around competition day, which takes place every Friday, when the riders compete in a dressage contest and a competition over jumps, beginning with poles on the ground and building upwards for the more experienced riders.

Programme and activities. Equestrian Camp in the UK

Enjoying activities

At Exsportise camps the fun and activities never stop ! From first thing in the morning until bed time, the young people have a wide choice of interesting things to do in addition to their sport and language study.

To complete the day of activities, we offer a varied and fun social programme in the evenings. The Entertainment team at Exsportise plan a range of different events, such as talent shows, film nights, team games, treasure hunts, ball games, disco nights or races. This provides all the camp participants with a great opportunity to get to know one another outside their sports training and English class. Students are under the careful supervision of camp personnel at all times.

Recreational Facilities

All venues have comfortable recreation rooms with televisions. There are also swimming pools available at all locations, supervised by qualified life guards. There are large external areas with sports equipment, where the young people can relax with their camp mates and play, for example, tennis, football, volleyball and table tennis and thus enjoy some other sport apart from their horse riding.

For participants staying more than one week, there is also the option of a full day excursion at the weekend.

One of these outings is a visit to an interesting English city, such as Bath, Brighton, Oxford or Cambridge. This gives students the opportunity of experiencing some traditional British culture and seeing attractive natural landmarks. There is also a chance to do some shopping, relax and enjoy themselves.

The most popular excursions are without doubt the visits to theme parks such as Thorpe Park or Chessington World of Adventures. Participants enjoy a full day of fun in one of the UK’s best theme parks! It’s a great way of relaxing and enjoying new friendships. All excursions are fully supervised by the Exsportise staff. Packed lunches are provided on the day of the excursion.

There are also excursions to London available at an additional cost, subject to availability.
