Every summer in Sotogrande a golf camp is organized in this privileged site for the boys and girls who want to perfect their level of golf. A privileged climate and first class facilities for young people to enjoy their favorite sport.

Professional trainers will teach the kids everything they need to know to improve their game. Technique, strategy, physical training are some of the things that are taught in this camp. A very complete program that will help achieve the greatest potential of students so that they can continue improving day by day.

Important: This camp is only for federated boys and girls who are associated members, if your child is not yet federated, you can contact their Golf club or Local Federation to perform the appropriate paperwork. The campus in Sotogrande offers 15 hours of training per week in a small group setting, which gives personalized attention to each student. Coaches belong to the Sotogrande International Golf Academy, and assign each student to groups organized by age and levels.

Students train at the Alcaidesa golf club, an 18-hole golf course designed by Dave Thomas and with 4 practice areas. 

The training will include physical preparation, two hours of technical training, 18 holes in 6 different golf courses and all kinds of competitions Match and Stroke Play.

English Classes

Language classes at
English classes are taught in the residential area. Are groups of 10 students per age. The boys receive 3 hours of class daily from Monday to Friday. Teachers are qualified professionals who are responsible for motivating young people to learn the maximum possible while having fun.
 
There are also Spanish classes for international students.

Agenda and Activities

Enjoying activities

The kids will not stop doing things during their stay at the camp. Daily they will go to their training sessions and later to their English classes. Afterwards, there are many activities and games for them organized by the staff for that the kids can have a great time.

Excursions

Wednesdays are reserved for field trips or to visit a nearby location. Instructors program visits to Malaga, Cadiz, and Gibraltar or to the Theme Park Isla Mágica in Sevilla.  All these excursions guarantee a fun day away from the camp. Another destination they visit each year is Marbella where they spend the day at the Adventure Park Amazonia Marbella.

Activities

During several hours a day, students can enjoy free time to get to know each other or participate in other sports activities. At night, instructors organize theme parties to end the day quite memorably.

Accommodations and Monitors

Students stay at the “Gaudi” building student housing where language classes take place. These facilities have six rooms with bunk beds for a maximum of 12 students and all the rooms have air conditioning and access to the bathrooms located in the gymnasium of the building. Instructors are available and supervise all the activities

Supervisors

A team of camp monitors is available to the kids 24 hours. They are responsible for their care and for organizing all the recreational activities of the camp.

The kids will practice golf in Sotogrande, a residential area, situated in the Municipality of San Roque, belonging to the province of Cadiz.

Transfer Service

This camp offers an optional airport transfer service for added convenience. If you choose this service, your child will be collected by a supervisor from Malaga airport and escorted to the camp, and vice versa on the way back. This service is included in the price on the following timetable:

  • Arrivals and Departures from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Insurance Services

Through an international insurance company, we offer two different types of insurance:

Camp cancellation insurance

If you want to rest assured that you can recover your money in the event that your child is unable to attend the camp because of unforeseen circumstances - our cancellation insurance policy may be of interest to you. More information here

Steps to make a reservation for the camp

  • Step 1: Make a payment of 50% of the total cost of the program. (If you reserve after May 31st, you must pay 100% of the cost of the program to reserve.)
  • Step 2: Turn in the required documents duly completed.

Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, we’ll send you a confirmation of your reservation.

Once you have received the confirmation, you can buy your transportation tickets. If you have reserved the transfer service, be sure to send us an email regarding the details of your trip so we can successfully transport you to the camp.
